REMOTE WORK POLICY

Life Science Copywriter is a digital content writing agency that serves international clients from all regions worldwide. Our business model runs exclusively with remote teams.

Here are 10 guidelines for our remote work policy.

1. Eligibility
Remote work is the default of our operation. All our positions are project-based and eligible to work remotely. Remote workers will be engaged on short-term contracts on an as-needed basis.

2. Availability
Our services are client-specific and project-based. We deliver our services using a structured 8-Step Copywriting Process. Our employees set their own schedules to deliver projects within a pre-defined turnaround timeframe that is client-specific, project-based (scope), and mutually agreed upon.

3. Responsiveness
All remote workers meet deadlines, uphold high-quality standards, and submit daily reports. Communication between our staff and our clients can be achieved in three ways …

Phone calls
Email communication
Online video conferencing

Remote employees are not expected to respond instantly to email communication from co-workers or clients because of different time zones. However, phone calls or online video conferencing among staff and clients will only be done by appointment via our booking calendar.

4. Productivity Measurements
Every project will have an assigned timeframe based on the scope. And employee productivity will be measured against project outcomes. Key deliverables include delivering results within the pre-defined turnaround time of the projects assigned and the number of client interactions.

5. Equipment
Because we don’t have any requirement to hold physical office space and all our jobs are project-based, remote workers need to have their own computers and access to an internet service to complete their work.

6. Tech Support
Tech support for remote workers will only be offered as needed, but only for tasks that are directly related to facilitating service delivery.

7. Rightful Termination
No employee will be terminated on the basis of working remotely. Rightful termination will typically be addressed upon a breach of our remote work policy.

8. Physical Environment
Life Science Copywriter has no physical office environment.

9. Security
Remote workers will not come into contact with or be responsible for sensitive client material. The company will assign them duties on secure networks to ensure cybersecurity and protection against personal data risks. Work in public places and/or on public devices is prohibited.

10. Client Confidentiality
Remote workers will be required to sign non-disclosure agreements, which will be put in place to secure client information and confidentiality.
